William W. Reichart, Inc. has been family-owned and operated since 1890. For over a century, seven generations of the REICHART family have been engaged in locating, developing, supplying, purifying and monitoring ground water.

J.Wesley Reichart, the founder of our company, drilled farm and residential wells with a steam
driven wooden spudder rig throughout south-central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland through the turn of the century. In the “old days” it would take days to weeks of hard work & perseverance to complete the drilling & well construction process.
The same pride in quality service and commitment to hard work that it took to get the job done back then are the mainstays of our work ethic today. As we enter our seventh generation, REICHART crews utilize modern methods and equipment to drill more than 700 domestic, geothermal, municipal, irrigation and monitoring wells on an annual basis.
